Chinthana Hatangala is an experienced academic with over 16 years of teaching experience across Australian universities, with extensive contributions to teaching, assessment, curriculum delivery, and academic coordination in finance, accounting, and business statistics. Complementing his academic background, he also brings significant industry experience as a Senior Equity Research Analyst, enriching his teaching with practical insights and a strong industry perspective. His approach to teaching and learning is applied, industry-oriented, and strongly student-centred.
Chinthana is a PhD candidate in Applied Finance, with research focusing on predictive modelling in financial and economic contexts. He is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional standards and engagement with the accounting profession.
